"I'm a woman but I do have nose hair and I've tried several different trimmers. This one is amazing. I even use it, carefully on my upper lip and eyebrows if I don't have time to pluck. I would imagine this would be wonderful for men, for nose, ears, etc. I have had it for over a year and haven't had to change the battery yet. Totally happy and impressed with this product." — Jojo

Customer Review:
"Read the reviews, some mixed, some say loud. What I say is nothing short of awesome. I was cutting my nose hairs with small scissors and a Panasonic trimmer. This Conair blows both out of the water. I unwrapped the package, put in a battery (plus side showing when you close), and then went to town. Less than a full minute and my nose was bare. I literally jumped and said awesome. I just hope it lasts, but even if I only get a few months, I would buy it again." — Abby

Customer Review:
"After a very old one wore out, I have been looking for this style of nose-hair razor for several years. I couldn’t find it in grocery stores, pharmacies, or box stores and thought this style must have been discontinued. Rotary cutters just don’t get close enough or clean enough. This is clean, safe, and easy to use, and the battery is strong, unlike that of several rotary ones I tried. I feel prettier already." — Karen

Is trimming the nose necessary?

According to Jacobs, trimming nose hair isn't necessary and it's all about personal choice. But he does cautions against over-trimming as that may lead to some issues. "Over-trimming can lead to debris and dust getting into the lungs or further irritating allergies. It can also lead to ingrown hairs."

How can one trim their nose safely?

Jacobs says to first make sure the area you want to trim is free of mucus and other debris. Next, you'll want to make sure the tools you are using are sterilized. You can use scissors to trim nose hair, but he says electronic ones would be ideal. "Avoid tweezers and other nose hair removers that involve plucking the hair out of the follicle; completely removing the hair in that matter can irritate or infect the area," he explains. But remember to go slowly: this will help avoid injury.
What are the downsides of trimming your nose hair?

Jacobs says the only real downside to trimming nose hairs is increasing your chances of inhaling dust, pollen, and other debris; this will then increase your likelihood of getting sick. He also says that over-trimming can also cause irritation to the sensitive skin inside the nasal membranes and can create ingrown hairs.
