McLaren have taken a dig at Felipe Massa over his potential legal action against Lewis Hamilton's 2008 F1 title.
Former Ferrari driver Massa announced he may seek advice over a possible challenge regarding the championship, which he was narrowly pipped to by Hamilton at the season finale in Brazil, following recent comments by Bernie Ecclestone.
The ex-F1 chief stunningly revealed he'd convinced Nelson Piquet to keep quiet about the now-infamous Renault Crashgate incident to protect the sport from a scandal. It was during that race Massa suffered his botched pit stop with the fuel hose, which allowed Hamilton to gain points on him.

While his comments could have major ramifications, McLaren don't appear too fussed - as their social media team created a TikTok making light of the situation.
The short video used a voice clip which said: "Denial is a river in Egypt."
Massa was in no joking mood after Ecclestone's revelation that there was enough information to investigate the matter before the end of the '08 season.

He told motorsport.com: "There is a rule that says that when a championship is decided, from the moment the driver receives the champion's trophy, things can no longer be changed, even if it has been proven a theft.
"At the time, Ferrari's lawyers told me about this rule. We went to other lawyers and the answer was that nothing could be done. So I logically believed in this situation.
"But after 15 years, we hear that the [former] owner of the category says that he found out in 2008, together with the president of the FIA, and they did nothing to not tarnish the name of F1.
"This is very sad, to know the result of this race was supposed to be cancelled and I would have a title."
